This site is set up as a personal “soap box”. I, Paul W. Moreland, will use it as a place to express my thoughts and feelings on a variety of topics that interest me. I’m a third generation preacher/missionary currently serving in the heart of Colombia’s coffee country. It’s not easy finding a place to “let off steam” so this will be my “safety valve”, a place where I can write about anything that’s on my mind.
Topics? Well, as mentioned above it’ll be whatever happens to be tumbling around in my mind at the moment. Faith, Family, Freedom, Firearms – those are what will be the core of the site because those are what tend to dominate my thinking and that’s pretty much the order of priority I give them. First is my Faith in God, the Creator of all. Then comes my love of my family, followed by love of freedom. Freedom in Christ being foremost, but freedom to live according to my conscience in today’s world is also high up there. And firearms. They can be the means of retaining freedom or regaining freedom and are what separate a Citizen from a Subject in today’s world.
Most of all, I just want to lift up Jesus the Christ and hopefully help any who stumble on this site to learn to think a bit and hopefully come to a saving knowledge of Christ’s plan for their own life.
